Please join us for an Amazon Blitz 7CT/8ET on April 15th. Tell your friends, and help Indemnity make a big debut. Thank you!
Indemnity for Kindle, Nook, etc… E-books will release a couple of weeks after the paperback.
Since last month: we got the edits back, fixed the issues, approved the interior and the wraparound cover, nearly had a stroke when I was alerted about a typo in the final, got that fixed and approved the author copy.
Whew!
(Incidentally, the typo was my fault. I created it during my revisions after the editor and proofreaders were done with it. Sheesh, how embarrassing! My author copy was printed before the typo was fixed, so I have a collector's item.)
Contingency is slated for a whirlwind blog tour through the month of May. I'm working hard on promotional material for that. Keep an eye on Facebook and the Events page on the website for details on where the book is featured.
Everything is on sale
Prices have dropped across the board. Kindle, Nook and e-books are all $2.99. The audiobook has dropped to $9.99 and Amazon has the paperback for $11.
After Bobbi and Chuck
I hid a little piece of a future book on Facebook. The formatting is terrible, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Website
The Indemnitysite is all redesigned now. Check it out.
As soon as I get a box of books, the Store site will have both books and special price for the pair.
If you have a Goodreads account, may I humbly ask for your help? Thank you! (If you don't have an account, Goodreads is a social site just for books. An account is free.)
Third, recommend the books to your Goodreads friends. (Shoot, you can recommend 'em to your real live friends.) Shameless, unscrupulous authors are not allowed to recommend their own books.
As I close out, let me thank you again for all that you do for me. I ask a lot, I know, but this wouldn't be possible with your support, your encouragement, your enthusiasm and your prayers.
I can't tell you what little things- comments and likes on a Facebook status, an "add" on Goodreads or even a retweet – mean to me.
Aside from the busyness, and the doubts that hit regularly, sometimes the battle slides into other areas. I read this post from a Christian fiction discussion group leader.
"It seems like a lot of people don't see anything wrong with self-publishing. Just like a lot of people don't see anything wrong with living together and not getting married."
Seriously.
Immediately, I thought of one of my favorite lines from Finding Nemo, when Marlin and Dorie realize the bright shiny light they've been following is actually a lure on a monster fish. Marlin says, "Good feeling gone."
You, my friends, always put that good feeling back. Thank you SO MUCH for being on my side.
