Wow, Paula, this was SO interesting. I had no idea how stringent the code of honor is for soldiers who guard the Unknown Soldier's tomb. Impressive. Great analogy. Happy Memorial Day!

I completely understand this! I sometimes look at novels or movies and if they have cheezy endings, you hate it. You want...something to go wrong or something to never be the same (not the good same, either) again. So, it's not hard to wonder...well, He's just TOO perfect, TOO trusting, and TOO righteous. And, all in all, we need someone like hat sometimes. We need someone we can fall back on and it's everything we need. Thank you for the post!

I love this post! I love hearing over and over again that someone loved me enough to do dot-dot-dot. In this case, Jesus died for me, which is the greatest feat someone has done for me. It brings up an interesting point, Peter never did get something to show for it...because I think in he end, had Jesus not fixed it, Peter could have died then and there. Another thing Jesus did for them. It's almost an obvious answer, Shall I take your place? Yes...but, people don't always answer that. I pray for people to answer yes. Thank you for the post!!!

This is interesting...because, lots of people do that. Maybe not even consciously I've done it, too. I sometimes don't even ask "Hey, do you go to church? Would you like to come with me?" But, this makes an interesting point: Even if it doesn't immediately work, I should still try...because, like you wrote...he did eventually join facebook.
This was a funny post. Thank you!!

I remember reading about Lazarus and the KJV said, "Lo, he stinketh..." that was funny. But, yeah, Martha...I don't blame her. Her brothers been dead for days and for her, what's done has been done. But, Jesus had a surprise for her! Thanks for the post!
