Contingency Update Happy September! Here's the latest news on the book: I haven't made an "official" announcement yet. So far, you folks are the ones in the know. We've worked out most of the details of the arrangements and as soon as I sign a contract, I'll announce it. (So, if you see it on Facebook, remember, it's 'old news' for you.) The publisher has my final version. It will go to the editor, who will check it line by line. Then it goes to the interior designer who will handle the layout. A discussion guide will be included. (I also intend to include the opening chapter of the second book as a teaser.) A graphic artist is currently working on cover art. I CAN'T WAIT to see it. Believe me, I'll blast you a message as soon as we get it. The trick is getting a design that can be unified across all three books. Check out the art for any trilogy and you'll see what I mean. The designs aren't the same, but they're unified, and reflect a common theme. Once the cover art is done, look for a website redesign to match. I supplied my bio, acknowledgments and dedication. I have an official author picture for the inside back cover. That's it over there —-> Thanks, Mary! (I intended to wear my glasses for the photo. I wear them all the time anyway, but it was sunny enough that they kept darkening, and it looked really dopey.) The publisher's goal is to have it ready for release before the end of the year – sooner than I expected. You'll be able to order it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Borders. Any bookstore can order it through their regular distributor. It will be available in trade paperback, Kindle and audiobook formats. You can get the posts by email the day after they publish. I welcome your comments on the posts.	School has started again! That means I'm homeschooling Lauren, taking Alan to 4th grade and doing "school" with Rachel when she wants to be a schoolgirl. We've got flag football, theater, voice lessons, piano lessons in addition to our regular busy schedule. I have no idea how much busier things will get as the books release date nears.
