Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. Proverbs 10:9
We see them all the time…
The press conference to clarify the denial of the qualification
Of the disavowal of the retraction
That was issued
Because of the misinterpretation of the initial assertion
That was made in haste
And was never meant to cause any undue harm
But nonetheless reflected poor judgment
If anyone was offended
So we’ll move forward and put this behind us.
Whatever “this” was.
But if we just walk in integrity
There’s no need to worry about who knew, or said, or did what and when they knew or said or did it.
And it’s not just an Old Testament thing…
Jesus said, “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” (Matthew 5:37)
How would society change if people were committed to walking in integrity?
What if we as believers go first?
